Charter bus options in St. Louis, Missouri
Known to many as the “Gateway to the West,” the city of St. Louis was originally named for the French King, Louis XIV. It was acquired from France as part of the Louisiana Purchase in 1803, soon becoming a major steamboat hub, and later a major automobile manufacturer. Today, St. Louis is home to companies like Anheuser-Busch, Boeing Defense, Peabody Energy, Monsanto, and more.
But St. Louis is more than just big business and trade. There’s plenty to see and do in the city, from catching a Cardinals game to seeing the iconic Gateway Arch. St. Louis is known for cold winters and hot summers, but you can see the sights at any time of year when you charter a bus to St. Louis from Metropolitan Shuttle.
St. Louis Zoo
The Saint Louis Zoo, also known as the Saint Louis Zoological Park, was first established during the 1904 World’s Fair. The zoo expanded from its humble beginnings through the early part of the century into one of the most recognized zoos in the country, with more than 18,000 animals on display and attracting more than three million visitors a year. Guests at the zoo can see everything from bamboo sharks to black rhinos to Emperor penguin. Don’t like the traffic? Rent a bus to St. Louis and let us do the driving.
Missouri Botanical Garden
The Missouri Botanical Gardens is one of the oldest establishments of its kind in the United States and appears on the National Register of Historic Places. The facility includes a Japanese strolling garden, a geodesic dome, a playground, reflecting pools, and more. The gardens were established by Henry Shaw in 1859, and the grounds still contain his estate home and orangery. This is a site rich with history and legacy, perfect for a shuttle bus rental in St. Louis.
The Gateway Arch
Want to see the most iconic structure in St. Louis? Gather friends onto a party bus rental and head for the Gateway Arch. At 630 feet high, this stainless steel monument is the tallest arch in the world, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors a year. Guests can travel to the top of the arch in one of the monument’s trams, take a 12-passenger elevator partyway up, or (for the truly brave) ascend 2,000 stairs to the top. The Gateway Arch is a timeless symbol of pioneer spirit and exploration, not to be missed.
Museum of Transportation
If you’re crazy about transportation, look no further than the National Museum of Transportation, 42 acres of grounds featuring hundreds of vehicles of every kind. Grant’s Farm
Names after Ulysses S. Grant, today Grant’s Farm is an historic landmark and attraction, spanning 281 acres.
